Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, May 28, 2020

It's Thursday and we're enjoying a bit more size in the surf today, the rain has been pouring down the last few nights and the wind has been cross-shore onshore lately. That being said there are windows of clean conditions to be found throughout the day. They say the early bird gets the worm but lately it's been the persistent surfers that are scoring the windows.

It was sprinkling when I was shooting this morning and there was this bit of haze hanging over the water.

Jenna hitting the backdoor, she has been consistently charging lately.

Guys down scoping the conditions, weighing the option of paddling out or saving it for the afternoon tide push.

Jeynner checking under the hood, the window wasn't very long this morning but the surfers out were scoring.

Devon scoring back to back waves with Jenna.

Manny doesn't let a bit of rain stop him from getting out there and spraying some himself.

What time is it? I'd say about 11:30 approaching noon.

Mystery barrel surfer of the day!

I'm guessing we are gonna have plenty of quality content over the next couple weeks, 17 day Surfline forecast is reporting head high waves for the next 17 days.

Sean stalling for the barrel, I would've said Mystery barrel surfer but you can fully see him through that wave.

Mystery Barrel surfer #2

Tide is getting low and the sand is getting drudged up, but the boys will take the board snapping chance to score when the opportunity presents itself.

Jenna from long range looking for some barrel time herself.

Okay ya'll thanks for swinging through and checking the report, I'd love to shoot pics in the afternoon and show you the sunset session as well but I think I'll wax up my stick and hit the water instead. Yeeew! Have a great day everybody!
