Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, May 27, 2010

What’s up party people?  Let’s start the Thursday report from down here in San Juan del Sur.  Today we stick around the bay, trying to take some photos just to let you know how it was.  When we were there these two guys came out across from the street to offer us a special nica drink called Caballito Suave.  That thing will keep you warm all day, no matter how cold the weather is, if you do not believe me just ask Chewy when you get a chance.

The surf was kind of fun at the bay.  Lots of people paddled out hoping to score some decent ones, and they did.  It was running about chest to shoulder high on sets and we don’t even have to mention that the wind was blowing ONSHORE.  Check it out!

On the way to the beach we found this guy, just chilling.  We invited him to go surfing but he said he is not a fan of the water.  Maybe he doesn’t know how to swim or he is Lucha's family because they never want to get in the water, that’s what we thought.  Anyway, here is a cool shot of him posting for the camera.

Mostly all the locals were out this afternoon, even “La Baloy” Chamorro.  Here he is about to throw the lip off the back on this little nugget.

There were some nice sized set waves rolling in, but they were really hard to catch.  This dude wanted to catch this one so bad and this is what he got.  Nice pounder, uh!

A few cute ladies showed out to the beach as well, no worried about to go out through some soiled water.  Hey ladies, the weekend is close and probably Chewy is going to be out this Saturday, remember that he is still single.  You just gotta find the hairiest guy in the disco, I think that is not hard, is it?

On the last shot of the day we have Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila with a sweet frontside maneuver on this close out section.  Please check back with us tomorrow.
