Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, May 25, 2015

Here is a cool opportinuty to support one of our local libraries and have a chance to win an epic vacation in Rancho Santana. To purchase tickets, go to limonlibrary.com and follow the instructions. This goes to a great cause- the Puertas del Saber library is doing amazing things for the locals in the area and we want to continue to see them expand their reach.  If you have any questions, please contact Scott at [email protected]

Hello everybody. Welcome to another week of epic surf in Nicaragua. At first glance it did not look impressive. The wind was switching and a wasn't from a perfect direction. Some big sets came through and there were a few with good shape. There were a lot of wipeouts and some decent barrels all day long. Check it out.

Scottie from NorCal recovered from sunburns and a meager of just diet nuts and berries the last few days to score this nugget. We hear he got a heaver of a right hander later in the day.

This left was not perfect but every once in a while connected for a long ride.

A Aussie friend Dean was part of the action today. He and his friend David are surfing and enjoying of the Nica Experience.

Mateo overcame the pain of injury to get out there the last couple days. How much you wanna bet he was feeling no pain at this moment.

Here's a classic shot from this spot. As usual the rights were the gems today. Stoked on the epic little run of waves we've been having. Looks like more on tap later this week.

LIttle man Dean repping Costa Rica has been out the last few days. We've been seeing him down the beach pulling into heaving closeouts all weekend. Here he is getting a makeable one. Keep those baby blues protected buddy.

Swimming is always fun when the water is clear and colorful and the waves are piping. Here is David getting cover of the curtain.

I am going to leave you with a shot of the spot we all want to be. Here's hoping for more of the same tomorrow. This is Armando "el Codo" Lopez de la Granja bringing you all the action from Southern Nicaragua once again. Mucho Gusto!
