Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, May 23, 2012

The boys at Surfari Charters have been killing it lately, scoring some fun surf and crushing the fish.  A couple of nice Dorados and the 21 release of the year, so far.  Keep it real boys, SUBUUUUUU!!!

Hey everyone, Brian here bringing ya today's session. The surf wasn't too bad considering the conditions we've had the past few days, I managed to sneak out and catch a few and turned out to be a pretty fun morning. Surf was running about waist to chest high and peaky, with hardly any wind at all. Here's a few sweet shots that Juanito scored this morning, so if you slept in this is what you missed.

Some nice lefts coming through this morning, here's "Big" Mark from San Diego getting his money's worth. Definitely don't want to be in his way when he's cruising down the line, he might just run you over haha!

I was surprised to see waves like this coming in all over the place this morning. This guy here was set up perfect on this righthander, now only if he could put the gas on and set up in the barrel that's about to throw.

I know everyone wants to get barreled, but sometimes you have to make the best of a closeout. Floaters are definitely a nice alternative, this guy is demonstrating it very well.

Just when you think you have a good wave under your feet, leave it to a young gun to snake you. At least he pulled into this tight barrel.

Last shot for the day, Juanito caught "slick Rick" sliding into one of the best rights all morning. I was standing on the inside when he caught this one and I was jealous. Let's just say he got under the shade this morning..haha! Nice wave Rick! That's all for today, don't forget to stop by the shop 9a.m.-5p.m. and check out our huge selection of rental boards, and all the latest NSR gear. Adios amigos!
