Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, May 20, 2016

What's up everybody?! Happy Friday and welcome to the NSR surf report with Parker. We had some fun waves this morning so scroll down for our shots!

The SW swell gave us some head high leftovers (sets were a touch overhead). The period dropped so the waves were slightly more peaky.

This unknown surfer caught many waves and was all over the face. Check this spot out at low tide or during a swell to find long rippable lines!

It wouldn't be a Horseshoe session with a couple of our Chief Officers out there!! Welcome back in town Roger (Senor CSO) and we'll see you in the line up!

Kenny, the CPSO, was also on it early and he took out a new Firewire board. Swing by our shop in the next couple of days- we just received a shipment of SICK new boards! Firewires and Hayden shapes for all!!!

Yesterday was a barrel fest at our homebreak's peak high tide. Now that the swell is dropping off, paddle out at a mid tide and you might find a few gems with good shape.

Or if your name is Brian and you're in full vacation mode, grab a morning coffee and juice, find a hammock, and enjoy the morning!

Tom Sherf from Marisombra had a sick board trip yesterday! He found soft playful waves then some big double up barrels. Today, he was happy to blow the lip off the wave.

The inbetweeners were a little smaller and mushier. There was still plenty of face to work with and rip!

Scott Stueber from Casa Blanca was experiencing the wave's tough drop first hand. It may be a fat mushy wave but it packs a punch (and so do the six set waves behind it!).

Maybe we should make Hacienda Iguana's job easier... does anybody want to have a huge bonfire in the next coupld of days!??! I'll bring the wood...

Ok damas and caballeros, it was a fun gorgeous morning and the afternoon is still looking mighty fine (high tide, light winds, and clear skies). We appreciate y'all checking out today's report and we'll see you out in the line up!
