Hello everyone, welcome to a beautiful day here at Santana beach. The swell and the offshore are here (at least in the morning) and the waves are great!

Just a few people in the water, and most of them at first peak. Probably the size of the sets are a little intimidating for the normal surfer.

Big waves = Junior Martínez at first peak. He never misses a good swell and he is always catching all the best ones.

There were big late drops and Junior knows perfectly how to handle them.

Sadly for Junior, the barrels were scarce and hard to get at first peak. Here he is on his backside trying to stall to get some cover.

And here it´s his older brother Mario, fashionably late but always at the right time.

And as always, Mario skipped first peak and went looking for the rights on the center of the beach, which looked fast but good.

Good and fast enough for him to get barreled in almost every wave he went for.

Super late air drop but in full control of the situation. He made the drop but the wave didn´t cooperate with him this time, it just closed out behind him.

There were other people in the water too, not just the Martínez, here is another local (don´t recognized him) on a small left.

Here is Mario deep in the barrel, I don’t understand why he was by himself catching all the barrels and the rest were trying at first peak!

The swell will stay around this size through the weekend so, don´t party too much! Now it´s time for me to close the computer and go find myself a good barrel (and a few wipe outs!). Cheers!
