Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, May 17, 2011

Hello again and welcome to another daily surf report.  Before we get to the waves, Carlos Caliente wants to give a shout out to his buddy Tim Gras who recently shaped him this sick board for the big stuff.  Carlos is hoping to get on this bad boy early tomorrow morning and into some power!

We went up to a punchy beachbreak earlier today.  The waves were running about chest high but the wind was onshore making for some slight chop.  Still plenty of fun waves to be had. This is Roy from East Florida with a cutback to layback.

Another Florida boy, Louie, who was born and raised in Saint Augustine.  He was ripping apart these sloppy waves today.  Going vertical.

These guys almost sprayed each other on this wave.  Roy coming out of a turn while Mario lays into one.

There was some young guys out at this spot that were surfing well.  Lots of airs going down, here's a sweet disaster on the end section of this wave.

Louie was surfing well for the quality of the waves today.  Here he his burying his rail on this backside hack!

Lots of spin variations going on and some radical surfing on these little waves.  This kid pulled of a few 360's out there, here's one of em'.

Louie, again...  Representing Florida well with some solid turns like this.  One-footed layback with some power on the end of this wave.

On the way home we stopped at our favorite pulperia for some of the best chocolate milk in the world.  Andrew, 3 cartons later didn't want to move.  Thanks for checkin' us out today.  We are expecting a large increase in size overnight and into tomorrow.  Tune in tomorrow for more action straight from the beach.  This is Eric, and I'm out!  Be easy folks!!
