Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, May 15, 2009

Hey and welcome to the Friday surf report! This is Mateo “guineo”, Chewy and Come Pan bringing you the surf all the way from Nicaragua. The surf was small and it was a good time for a longboard. It was about waist to chest high with offshore winds! Check it out!

Pancho and the crew went fishing today and crushed it! They caught 26 fish ranging from Mackerel to Jack and snapper. They were super stoked to have an awesome day! Good job guys!

After all the fish were caught we went out for evening surf to build up an apatite for fish tacos. This is Carlos “Caliente”  Stylin’ on the big panga while “Hace Queso” hops over the shoulder.

Here’s Larry “Carita De Venado” whipping this turn around, like a cowboy whips a mustang. Nice turn man!

Our lovely Hace Queso came out to surf with the family as well. She was stoked to be out this evening. Everything came together. The waves were small and fun, the water was warmer, and the sunset was awesome.

We met some lovely girls on the beach today from Israel and Managua. Michal and Blanca were stoked to be able to get away from their jobs and enjoy a day on the beach.

This is the intern Jeremiah “Cheeeeewwwy” with a sick Cheeeeewwyy gaff on this fun left! He was stoked to take this shot home to mom!

Mateo “Guineo” was out there getting some tip time and raising the roof! The interns were sitting at the peak all evening by themselves. Praise Jesus!

Come Pan captured this sick shot of the sunset. It was a real good day for NSR. We caught a ton of fish and a ton of waves. You can’t complain, you know! Check back tomorrow. Dale Pues!
