Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, May 14, 2020

Hey all! What an epic swell we had last weekend, now we have some fun sized waves for all to enjoy before ramping back up this weekend.

Tati was out catching some fun waves this morning.

Bianca was paddling out into giant waves this past weekend, I know she charges but is grateful for some mellow waves too.

Robin with a steezy floater!

Papa Bertie always looking smoooth and showing the kiddos the style.

Poppa Dan is living the dream; golf a few times a week, surf a few times a week, beach volleyball a few times a week.. well whenever the beach club opens up the volleyball will be part of the equation again.

Jett having a great time surfing in his backyard. I'd say it's easy for Jett to have a great time during recess and lunch break from home-school when this is your playground.

They dredged out the river mouth today and the water started flowing heavy, I think they are getting ready for the rainy season coming. Wonder what affect it'll have on the wave for this coming swell.

It started as a trickle, wasn't long before it was a gurgling gusher of some semi-funky agua.

Carlos with the wise decision to take the shoes off for the river crossing, those are some nice Nike's would hate to miss the jump and splash down in that river water.

The river splits the sand as the surfers split the waves.

John has evidently spent some time out here putting in work on those turns.. Nice one broski!

Some of these local guys generate so much speed on these smaller waves it is pretty nutty. Makes for an entertaining show when guys are flying above the lip and shredding the face on every wave.

Kevin is always ripping and such a nice dude, this was a super nice superman style air.. which Kevin landed btw. Okay I'm gonna make like a baby and head out, enjoy the rest of your Thursday folks. Wherever you are stay safe and take care of your neighbor. Love you all!!! Peace
