Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, May 12, 2020

Brian Scott

Happy Tuesday friends! Another great day of surfing, waves and good times. The swell has dropped quite a bit from the last few days of mayhem and wild giant waves. However, today was back down to fun and not so scary. So there were a lot of people out enjoying what Nica-Land is known for…. Barrels! Enjoy ~

Brian Scott

Spoiler alert… if you like barrels, this surf report is chock-full of them. Just like Grant here on this mid morning beauty!

Brian Scott

Although the waves were a bit racey out there on the quickly dropping tide, making for a prefect 10 barrel put any surfer out there today to the test of his or her pumping down the line in the barrel skills.

Brian Scott

Whether you made it or not wasn’t the real question. What was nice was that there were equally as many lefts as there were rights out there today. A nice change up from the last few days of almost practically all rights.

Brian Scott

Kevin back to flowing nicely with some turns after a barrel fest of a weekend of really big barreling waves!

Brian Scott

Sean putting his Playgrounds surf skills to test here at our beach break.

Brian Scott

There were so many mystery barrel surfers I could have made on here today… I literally could have made a whole entire surf report of all mystery barrel surfers. Hmmmm…. maybe that’s something for the near future???

Brian Scott

Mr. Carl feeing good coming off a really nice first season swell AND coming off this bottom turn.

Brian Scott

How else can you feel any better than sticking this move after an all morning marathon surf session. So many waves for everyone.

Brian Scott

Chris Conner on his 100,000th barrel in Nicaragua. No really… there’s an actual real number to that statement in truth. I wonder what that number really is????

Brian Scott

Here’s a little three-peat banger of a few of Ryan’s best waves today.

Brian Scott

Ryan was feeling really good out there today, as many people were.

Brian Scott

The conditions were primo!

Brian Scott

Manny was another one of the many other rippers out there today as well. Which angle you like of his getting shacked the most. This one….

Brian Scott

OR this one????

Brian Scott

Anyone who was out there who I ended up talking to later after they got out said the same thing… that there was still plenty of energy out there in the lineup.

Brian Scott

Just goes to show how talented and crazy some of these guys down here and their surfing really is. Sean’s is up there…. WAY UP THERE!!

Brian Scott

Esteban… always forward thinking…. I mean really far forward thinking. Helps he has a really talented green thumb too!!!

Brian Scott

Mr. Josh, Mr JoshHavePigDog, Always! Ever so stylish and living up to his name on every single wave he paddles into… that is a right of course for the JHPD!

Brian Scott

Brother John standing tall (which actually gives a pretty good size-O-meter) on this little BIG beauty of a left!

Brian Scott

Hot Carl. Carlitos Caliente. Call him anything that’s spicy, just don’t call him out for never going BIG. Here’s maybe one of the best waves I saw out there today.

Brian Scott

Sick one Boss-man!!!

Brian Scott

Finishing off nicely today with this beautiful wrap around. Yewww!

Brian Scott

Aaaaand BOOOOM! Just like that… it’s another great day of surfing in the books, once again!

Brian Scott

Let’s hope tomorrow looks like this all over again! Hope to see you out there mañana. As always, thanks for stopping by! Cheers ~
