There were little peaks everywhere so it was kind of hard to pick the right ones, but the few local surfers out there knew exactly which ones to catch.

Not that many barrels like Colorado yesterday but still you could find cover every once in a while.

And a lot of waves like this one went unridden, look at that beauty, I wish I was there!

A group of kids were on the sand catching “cusucos de mar” (sand crabs) and putting them on this plastic cup on the beach. This curious girl went to checked them out and right after a took this photo she jumped so high from the ground! I guessed the sand crabs suddenly moved or something.

This is what she saw in the cup. People here on the coast use sand crabs to add flavor to soups.

First peak was not working very well but still there were 2 guys going for it. Here is one happy surfer on one of the few good ones out there.

Here are two others happy surfers… Dylan on the bodyboard showing dad how he catch waves, and specially Erick looking at his kid, but also because he was about to go surfing!

Around 2:30 pm the wind changed really fast and some people got out and stayed hanging out on the beach, probably making plans for tonight, after all, is Friday!

Looks like the wind is going to be weird the next few days so, in the mean time, you should plan your next surf vacation... that house right in the middle of the photo (behind the Club House) soon will be finished and ready for rentals!
