Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, May 11, 2022

Brian Scott

Happy Hump Day better known as Wednesday my friends! So if you tuned into yesterdays report, you were treated to some mighty fine waves and pretty spectacular surfing I might add. However, I was told it was even better earlier. (I shot in the late late morning) sooooo today I made myself get down there way earlier today, but the waves, or swell had dipped considerably BUT the conditions were about the same so it wasn’t a complete waste to get down there at 7A.M. Anyhow, click that read more button and see how nice that morning light was!

Brian Scott

Despite the lack of consistency compared to yesterday, there were still some pretty nice barrels to play around in.

Brian Scott

Maybe it was too early so some people were hiding out inside the tubos maybe because of having a little morning shyness?

Brian Scott

Ahhhhh, but to come out is like getting out of bed, but this way is much more preferred I think!

Brian Scott

Chest to head high little drainers on the high tide coming up.

Brian Scott

There were a couple ladies out there. . . but the lineup was about 100 men (or so sit seemed). hahaha - if you were out there you know what I’m saying.

Brian Scott

Josee giving a little clinic to man number 99 paddling back out.

Brian Scott

Just some nice little super glassy barrels. That’s what was for breakfast for these lucky early birds.

Brian Scott

Stretching and surfing goes hand in hand. What you see on the surface doesn’t even compare to how many different shapes your body is thrown into on the big days!

The Wednesday morning (before the rush) crew.

Sometimes you just gotta “Get the JOB done”!!!  HAAAHAAA ok, ladies this one’s for you. Just trying to compensate for all those disgusting thong pics we tend to take. We want you gals to be happy too! Enjoy your morning eye candy!  jeje

Brian Scott

The water was aquarium clear. That is if you’re one of the kinds of people who like to keep your fish swimming in nice fresh clean water, that is?

Brian Scott

No, but serious, the water, the clarity, the temperature and lighting were all working together well this morning.

Brian Scott

I think the elevator has been out of service for so long in Rio Dolce, John was horsing around and making his own elevator drops today. Yeaaaaaah Big Dog, going for the Big Drop!!!! But don’t break that magic stick brother!

Brian Scott

Here’s another, but different example. Paddle water doggy paddle hard!

Brian Scott

Because if you don’t, you’re gonna end up where the wave breaks there. OUCH!

Brian Scott

Hey, so there’s a new thing they’re trying out here. FREE one on one surfing lessons. It’s called FTLSC or aka “Follow the Leader Surf Coaching”!

Brian Scott

Buzzy getting the parting surf shot of the day also dropping into one of the biggest waves of the morning. Yeah buddy!!!
