Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, May 11, 2019

Brian Scott

Hola weekend warriors! Well we had some unruly surf out there today. Onshore, crumbly, but BIG and building…..quite frankly, it was a beautiful mess!

Brian Scott

Had the winds been offshore, like that of which we’re normally known for this time of year, it would have been an all time day out there. PhiLou looking down the line of a well overhead wall at the reef.

Brian Scott

The water color was spectacular I’ll have to admit.

Brian Scott

The swell is supposed to crank into high gear (meaning peak) by tomorrow. Lets hope these winds back down a bit so we can all enjoy some juicy surf!

Brian Scott

Especially if this particular line up can come together. CROSSING FINGERS!!!! xxxx

Brian Scott

Mr. Gamez just got into town along with his other Nicaraguan visiting seasoned surfing amigos, ready for this big swell.

Brian Scott

You boys ready for some fun waves!?!?!?!

Brian Scott

I’m optimistic for my amigos as this little stealth trip they’re on is a regular thing being that they’re only about a 2 hour flight away.

Brian Scott

Warm tropical water and ice cold beers is just the icing on the cake, especially when we have a swell coming in that supposed to be 6-10feet by tomorrow.

Brian Scott

Who’s ready for some big waves….. THIS GUY!!!! Marcos perpetually stoked!!! Stay tuned for tomorrows report to see if these winds go away and more importantly to see if this sizable surf is as big as they’re saying it’s gonna be! SBS OUT ~
