Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, May 11, 2010

CH CH CH Chewy here with your Tuesday "reporte del norte" We are seeing some swell come in (happy face) and even though the wind is super strong offshore there are still some really fun waves coming through. CH CH CH Check it out.

First off I'd like to give my tip of the cap to this guy taking a picture with a faux camera of his buddy dropping in on him. I'd like to give my wag of the finger to this guy dropping in on the camera man. I think it was all in good fun, they were laughing.

This is our buddy Ed from San Diego. Super good guy and he surfs awesome! Ed was stuck on destroy mode out there. Hope you get your shifts covered buddy it is about to get good! haha

This guy was surfing super good. He locked into this barrel and never looked back.

Dude, I think you had a photographer... but holler at your boy if you want the photos!

yes, this is about to get sick

I almost lost hope here. this was a long section

I think this wave wanted you to come out

yeah man! sick wave.

you get Chewy's wave of the day award. Congratulations! you are probably more excited about that than this wave. It is very prestigious.

This guy got ran down on this wave. It looked really good for a second.

This guy gets honorable mention. this was a siiiiiiiccckkkkk wave. You dropped in late everything was right... and the wave clipped you on the head. bummer man. better luck next set.

Down here in San Juan del Sur we decided to throw a couple shots in from the NSR headquarter.  The surf was a little smaller down south today but there were still some fun waves coming in, the wind was nice offshore and the water was nice and cool.  Check out the lineup!!!

Pancho and Lucha Libre drove down a little bit south to check this spot out, and when they got to the beach there were a few guys already out.  Here we have one of them trying to get some speed and ride this little nugget all the way in.

As we said before there were some nice waves rolling in.  Eberly BB scored some of the better ones of his huge panga.  Check him out bottom turning this nice looking left hander.

The boys from Texas were all smiles because they pretty much had the whole spot to themselves for a few hours.  Here is “El Tostoncito” going down the line of this one.

Pancho Sanchez was shredding up all over the place, as always.  Here he is showing us how his cucumber is a big part of the main surf salad.

Since the lineup was empty, there were many peelers coming in with no takers.  What a nice looking wave, uh!!!

The swell is supposed to pick a little bit tomorrow so make sure to check us back out!
