Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, May 07, 2011

Hi, this is Lucha Libre with the Saturday surf report.  Today I got hired by a cool crew from Fl.  I made it up north super early to snap a bunch of shots of these guys and they were pretty excited to get some nice ones.  The waves were running about chest to shoulder high on the bigger sets, the winds were strong offshore and the water was nice.

This was the first we saw right when we pulled on the beach.  How not to be excited, uh!

These guys were ripping all over the place.  On the first action shot of these pals we have Angelo working on his backside with a solid turn.

Dave was catching ton of waves all morning long and got able to squeeze himself into a couple of small but sweet barrel sections.  This time he is showing us his style with this sweet frontside maneuver.

Timo, dropping in a little bit late and right under the lip on this nice looking left.  These guys were down here a couple years ago and they are stoked to be back.

Langford giving some extra work to his fins.  Setting up for a powerful turn with lots of speed.

The last shot of this crew goes to Dave (again) this time enjoying the view.  Watch out with the reef right in front of you buddy!

A few other guys were out, taking lots of waves.  Check out this longboarder picking a nice sized left.

This sponger made it out on his own outside the reef and got a few decent ones.  Dropping into a nice peak!

Alright folks, that’s all for today.  Please check back tomorrow.
