Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, May 06, 2009

Hi folks, thanks for checking in with us for the Wednesday surf report.  We are the NSR family brining you the action right to your computer from out here at one of the most popular beaches in Nicaragua.  The waves were super fun, running about chest to shoulder high on sets with perfect offshore winds and the water was crystal clear and warm.  Check out what we got for you today!

Our very own D-lite finally took the short board out and was ripping it up.  He’s thinking of competing in the up coming surf contest this weekend and we are pretty sure that he is going to have fun.

You guys know that we are training “El Tuzo” Morales to be our next photographer.  So today he took the water camera out and gave it a try.  The thing was that he was taking photos of himself thinking that he was shooting everybody in the water.  So he got more than 100 photos of his face.

After a while in the water “El Tuzo” figured out how to do it and took a couple of nice ones.  Here we have “Hace Quezo” styling on this nice looking wave.

There were a few guys destroying the waves apart.  This is Zacarias Florez Agusto with a sweet close up shot.  Jairo was doing his thing with the camera from the beach.

Did we mention that the water was crystal clear?  Check out how clear it was on this shot that Jeremiah got of Pancho Sanchez duck diving this wave.

Rodofo “Calibilly” Zapata was practicing some aerial maneuvers today because he wants to show all he's got in the next contest this weekend at Playa Maderas.  Here he is going big with this one.

Halloween is not here yet, but Lucha doesn’t want to spend money this year buying a costume, so he’s figuring out what to do.  The swell is building for the next few days so be sure to stay tuned with us.  Clase loqueeeeeera!!!
