Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, May 04, 2017

What’s going on everybody?! Welcome to another barreling surf report brought you by NSR and Parker. Check it out amigos!

Another day, another barreling morning session. When will it end??? We hope never…

Sean Pearson got an epic right and I think it was the WOTD. Scroll down, decide, and let me know.

Setting up, standing tall, and getting ready...

Slotted!! I would call it the green room but the water has a beautiful clear blue tinge to it.

The man is going deep!! Yesterday, him and Lesther shared a sick overhead right tube together. Everybody was cheering them on.

Ahh is it going to clamp?! Is he going to make it???

There’s a reason he’s on the national Nicaraguan surf team… Nice wave Sean!

There was still a lot of raw energy in the water. Regardless, there were plenty of good waves to be had.

Butttttt some of the waves sectioned and they sectioned hard. Way to commit!

Yeah, I hope it never ends… I would think everybody would get tired and want to change it up but everybody is still stoked and locking into these rights all day.

Kevin Cortez always finds a solid right. Even if he’s really deep, he drives though the section with speed and power.

Poor fins… they absorb all the speed and energy. Kevin, congrats on the new sponsorship with L2!

His surf coach Mateo paddled out on the fish for a few. He’s been stacking clips (check Surfline Espanol) so I’m sure he just wanted to have fun and see what he could do on that board.

Elyin Guzman is one of my favorite locals at a beach break north. He’s a sneaky surfer who always has a smile on his face.

And the skinny hombre shows off some drive and power. Elyin, will I see you at Burger Disco tonight? We are heading to Sidebar to eat some dinner, hang out at their venue, and see what kind of tunes are playing. I know you have some dance shoes bro…

If you don’t want to pick off these fast hollow rights, head to Sidebar again tomorrow night! There will be a combo party for ladies night and cinco de mayo.

Add today to list of fun surf days we’ve had this week. Tomorrow will still have great size and plenty of left overs throughout the weekend. King Neptune keeps providing!

Judging by this guy’s face, he’s stoked! However, keep an eye on the wind forecast. We think the rain is coming soon so that could bring some variable winds.

Ok guys, sorry, one more tube from this morning!! Set your high line and cruise into the weekend.

The tide is turning around and I think it will be a fun afternoon. If you're hanging around taking it easy, vamos a surfear (rest later)!! Thank you everybody for staying tuned and check back tomorrow. Hasta luego amigos!!

Errrr before we wrap things up, local photography legend Tony Roberts emailed me a couple photos of the nearby reef break. Hang with us for two more minutes to check them out!

Yesterday, I coordinated a photography session with TR and Chris Martin from Villas A16. If you're looking for professional top quality photography, talk to us! I can put you in touch with Brian Scott or TR. Those hombres will capture the moment.

Chris, what do you call that wave? Overhead? Possibly double on a good day? Regardless, I'm stoked you got out and got your shots! It's been a pleasure meeting you guys and taking care of y'all throughout the week.

Ok, now it's time to wrap things up! TR, thanks for sending those gorgeous shots. Chris and company, safe travels home and hopefully see you guys soon.
