Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, May 03, 2021

Brian Scott

Welcome back for the Monday surf report. It was onshore and not how I thought it would look or imagined for today, but then again, I didn’t bother to look at the wind/weather report. Normally I never look (especially after the non stop days of sun shinny weather we’ve been having; that and it’s May. Onshore should be somewhere like in Katmandu??? WTH?

Brian Scott

There are waves, it’s just not purdy like it usually is.

Brian Scott

It was also so damn hot and humid today, Tony decided to bring down his personal own solar powered mini Nica-Style AC unit. Smart thinkin’ holms! lol

Brian Scott

Ok, well we can’t have you un-stoked with yuck waves, so here’s some shots that never made the report because I took them about a week ago on one of my few days off. Froth out on these!!!!!

Brian Scott

Scott, definitely frothing and pig-dogging the hell out of this crazy freight train left!

Brian Scott

When you see an almost absolutely, perfectly shaped and unridden wave (like this one here), what do you think of???

Brian Scott

Bigger than it looks…. cien por ciento! Heavier than you think, pull in as deep as you can and find out!

Brian Scott

To think this was all just a little over a week ago. But this was actually the second “Super Good” swell we got in April. What’s in store for May might you be thinking??

Brian Scott

Praying, crossing fingers, toes…. heck, we’ll even do a ceremonial swell dance if need be, but I sure hope it’s LOTS more of this!!!!! Thanks for peepin’ in on some old but not too old footage that still deserved some exposure! Cheers ~
