Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, May 03, 2012

Plenty of fun size SSW groundswell was in the water today with shoulder-head high waves on the bigger sets.  Light moderate offshore winds flow in the mornings, getting a bit stronger about noon.  Plenty of southern hemi energy on the horizon.  Check it out!!!

If you are around the Tola area this weekend consider coming the grand opening of Pan de Vida inside the Aqua Resort near Gigante. If you've been to San Juan you have probably tasted Pan de Vida's amazing flavored and traditional breads or delectable cookies and cinnamon roles. Well now all of us in the Tola region will have the same killer baked goods within our grasp. Come celebrate good eats!

Juan Yuca was taking care of the camera this morning on land meanwhile TR, the big legend was doing his thing with the water housing and the Go-Pro at the same time.  Toni should have a sick photo of this kid on this left.  He looks to be in the hot spot on this one!

Mel Jumanji Young grabbed his board first thing in the morning and paddled out to score some fun ones.  Nice little racer Mel,  see ya' tomorrow!

Juan Yuca Panda is getting better and better with the camera.  Today he was able to catch this guy with some little barrel action.  Shot 1, pulling in!

Shot 2, finding some shade!

And out, shot 3!  Cool little sequence, uh!

We didn't have many rights rolling in today but this guy happened to be in the right spot to score some fun ones.  Pushing the breaks a little, hoping to get some shade!

A few rippers were out doing their things as you can see.  Unknown rider going big with a cool floater on a nice little nugget.

On the last shot of the day we have Dave Smith from San Francisco pig doggin' on his backside.  More waves on the way, so stay tuned with us!

Just in folks, it is not the same one.  This time Gorgeous George did his thing out there and hooked a nice Sailfish.  Good job pal!!!
