Hi and thanks for joining us for the Saturday surf report.  This is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia reporting from one of our favorite spots up north.  Today I woke up super early and drove up with Pancho Sanchez and Come Pan Panic to score some sick waves and we did.  The waves were super fun running about head high to over head on sets with offshore winds and the water was a little bit chilly.  Check out the lineup.

The lineup was a little bit busy than normal but everything was kind of mellow out there.  Here we have Erick with a cool backside maneuver on this left.  This guy was ripping all over the place.  By the way, we got some killer photos of you getting barrel my friend.  Let us know if you want to get a couple from us to immortalize this day for ever.

Jairo Come Pan Panic had the day off so he took advantage on that and decided to take the sponge out.  Check him out about the get super shacked on this sweet right.

The waves were moving around and you had to be very lucky to be in the right spot to catch a few of the better set waves that came through.  Here we have an unknown rider picking up one of the many good waves he had today.

We met a couple guys from North Carolina today. This is Chris Hunter setting up to get barreled on this amazing left. He has been coming down since 2000 hunting many killer waves.  Chris, we got some sick shots of you man.  Click on the photo above to check them out.

Mr Brown made it out today and you know what that’s mean.  Yeah folks, he was getting deep on some of the better waves of the day, as always.  Shot 1, dropping in.

Shot 2, looking down the line.

Shot 3, setting up.

Shot 4, getting covered.

Shot 5, behind the curtain.

Shot 6, totally disappeared.

Shot 7, is he going to pull out of this one?

Shot 8, of course.

Shot 9, clean and safe!!!

The wipe out of the day goes to Olli “El Cebollin” going over the falls.  Sorry for your board buddy!!!

Here we have another unknown rider bottom tuning on this nice sizeable right.  You can tell that he got shacked on this wave as well.  Don’t you think so?

Pancho Sanchez was trying to get some good ones but he couldn’t set in the right spot to score them.  Here we have a nice shot of him seconds away to get into than thing.

Last but not least we have this unknown guy from Texas on a nice right.  We don't know who he was (or where he learned to surf like this in Texas) but we do know he was charging and we got lots of sick shots of him on nsrsurfshots.com (click above to check them out).

Alright folks, the swell is dropping a little bit tomorrow but we are still going to have some really fun waves over the next several days.  We'll be on it so please check back with us.

Lucha out!
