Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, April 24, 2009

Hi party people and welcome to our Friday surf report.  Here we have Roberto “Lucha Libre” and Jairo “Come Pan” Panic bringing you all the news of this big swell straight to your office.  Today we drove to one of our favorite spots where we always go to surf some big and heavy waves.   It was couple feet overhead on sets with offshore winds and the water was chilly.  Check out the lineup.

A few locals took a ride with us to score some big waves.  Codo Lopez didn’t have a good experience with big waves yesterday so today he checked out the waves before he made it out because he didn’t want to get pounded again.

Meanwhile Codo was on the beach our buddy Chulin was taking plenty of sick waves all by himself.  Check him out bottom turning on this killer left hander.  Here we have the next local big wave charger, are you checking this report out MONITO?

This is a weird swell because the waves are big and many spots are closing out, but this spot has been firing during this swell.  This is “El Tuzo” Morales paddling away from the impact zone.  He was so scared when he saw this huge set coming though, all he thought was I GONNA DIE LITTLE MAMA!!!

Jorge “El Chispero” Sterlin wanted to ride a few waves at this spot but he missed his shorts on the first wave he was trying to get.  Here we have the proof of the wave that took his shorts off and he was paddling in to the beach naked but we are not allow to post the photo.

Armando “El Codo” Lopez finally made it out and took a few of the better set waves of the day.  Here he is looking good on his backside style.  At least this time he got a few good ones.  Do you still need the toilet paper my friend?

There were a few good waves to be had in the inside but nobody stayed there because everybody went big.  Here we have an empty one rolling all the way in alone

This is “El Chulin” Estrella one more time, trying to tear up the lip of this thing on the last shot of the day.  The swell is dropping a little bit tomorrow but we still are going to have some over head set waves coming through.  Please check back tomorrow.
