Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, April 23, 2020

Welcome back to your daily surf report! Yesterday was Earth Day but let's live everyday like it's Earth Day especially when we start going back to our normal lives.

I went to check it out in the morning and it was okay but nothing too special, Koji and Yuji might have been the only two out.

Mystery Snap of the day! Who's hiding behind that board?

D-Lite came down to check the surf and went for a quick paddle out, but the conditions weren't great I'll have to check later.

Heading up the beach towards home and I spotted Jeff from the distance, it's early but looked like he is tucking himself in.

Alright let's go! Afternoon/Sunset session looked like it was the right call.

Dario catching some air!

Sick move bro!

Is that Ty in there? Charging bro!

Bertie with the strong hack squeezing the juice.

Robin with a snap of his own showing dad what he's got.

Bianca rounding it out with a nice bottom turn!

Carlos having a good time, the waves weren't pumping big but they did look fun.

Golden hour was super extra tonight.

Occasionally the sets would come in with some slightly bigger waves.

Go Grom!! These kids charge! We can't wait for ya'll to be able to travel here and charge with us again.

Passing the surfing gene down to the next generation, father watching over son. Call me sentimental but this might be my favorite shot from the day.

This picture might have been from earlier in the day but it was hiding, just like the bros playing hide and seek in the waves.

Cesar is the Man!! Dropping in on that nice fish, make sure to go grab some snacks and goodies over at Stop'N'Go Market when your able to make it back down to our beautiful community.

Talk about leaning into the turn, hows that for horizontal?

Might have looked like the last picture was Robin falling.. looked like he threw the tail out.

There it is nice move young man!

Sequence of the day for all my mind surfers tuning in from around the world.

Orange Creamsicle sunset tonight was so pretty. The universe keeps presenting us with beauty everyday and all we have to do is look around and enjoy it. Even if that means watching videos and our surf report for the majority of the world right now.

Stay strong people! We may not be staying at home like most of the world but that is because without guests our community is so small that the beach is home. Don't think we are being cavalier to all that is going on as we have taken many precautions to help prevent the spread of this deadly virus and will continue until it is safe. Sharing is caring and so we bring you these gems daily. Peace
