All smiles on her day!! I mean, what isn’t there to smile about when you score these waves for two hours and then go home to watch the sunset with your family.

Pancho Sanchez deserves some love today too! He has planned Hace Queso's epic birthday day from start to finish. I know he isn't backdooring head high wedges or dropping in on double overhead bombs, but this is his favorite day.

Look again at this photo but don’t touch. This angry jellyfish means that the seasons are changing. You can expect softer offshore winds, warmer water, and some hot sun for the next few months. I’ll take the sting with a grain of salt (besides, that jellies will be long gone soon).

My friend Dario was out guiding a group. We've had an ongoing discussion for the past couple of weeks for the best pizzeria in Tola. I’m biased towards Nico at La Calabria (Limon 2) but he leans towards Tati at Casa Ananas (Hacienda Iguana). That means you should check both out and enjoy both styles!!

Thinking past dinner, for Hace Queso's birthday, you should (or maybe shouldn't) shave that stache.

Pancho always sticks his tongue out for pictures- evidently while he is spraying friends too. Don't worry Alison, after I put the camera on the boat, Pancho enjoyed watching me lay down a big carve in front of him.

You’d think things would get slow and redundant surfing a rippable wave for three hours but no, it doesn’t. Let me set up your boat to time it against the crowds so you and your friends can trade waves until you can’t paddle anymore.
