Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, April 18, 2011

We went to the beach right about noon today and we got surprised because we found some really fun waves rolling in all over the place.  It was head high on sets with nice offshore winds and the water was pretty.  Check it out!!!

First at all we want to post this killer shot of our very own D-litecito.  He came down to San Juan del Sur to spend a couple days with his chick and also was able to go out and speared for a while.  Did you really shoot that thing big boy?  Are you kidding us?  I would say that thing would pull you deep away if you shot it!

All the nica boys made it out and they were taking advantage in the lineup as always.  La Bestia Calderon with his signature move.  Damnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few local gringos paddled out as well and they were shredding.  This is Lindsey “La Pinguinita” Chamorro with a cool off the top on this left.  It is always nice to see the girls ripping.

La Gaviota Chamorro was also doing his thing, destroying waves all over the place.  Snapping it right under the lip!

Everybody thinks that the best part about surf, it is getting shacked.  If you don’t think so, it is because you’ve never get shacked.  Corage Hernandez getting some shade on this left.

It was nice to see everybody having a good time in the water.  This is Masequita, the youngest grommet we have surfing down here in San Juan del Sur.

This is Marcelino “La Cotorra” Navarro picking up a nice peeler.  The lineup was not busy at all so there were many waves to be taken.

The last shot of the day goes to Gainer “La Ranita” Tapita working on his backside bottom turn.  The waves should be fun tomorrow as well, so make sure to check us back out.
