Hello everyone, this is Baldo reporting from Santana beach. Today the wind was kind of strong and the waves were small and kinda tricky.

There were a lot of people surfing but everyone was having fun so that kept a nice vibe in the water.

Barrels were rare but there was always a lucky surfer that managed to get in and enjoy the ride… like this guy, who went over the falls or got clamped a few times before finding this little reward for his hard work.

Once in the shoulder you had plenty of room for a good cutback or a few turns on the face of the wave.

You can actually see the beach from the porch of the house! Ok, maybe it´s not the best view but you get an idea of how close you are to the surf.

And if you have binoculars then you could check the waves without leaving the place! How about that!?

On the way back to the beach from the Casita I went through the Club House and the view was great… between the colorful garden and the blue sky, with the ocean in between, the only thing missing was a cold drink!

… And that´s exactly what this girl had in mind when she decided to drop in front of the camera on her way to the bar… just like the guy with the white shirt did right behind her.

Once again on the beach and a lonely A-frame beauty went through. By this time the waves started to get better.

It´s hard to be taking photos of surfing when all you really want to do is be on the other side of the lens getting barreled (or trying to!). My “balancing rocks” of the day to control the anxiety. Not bad, right?

Now that her husband and two daughters went to France to visit family, Emeline will have more time to surf, here she is on a nice left.

Like every physical activity and before practicing any sport, you need to have the proper clothing, then you need to stretch, and after a few other nonsense, you go surfing… this girl does it the right way, a really nice way.
