Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, March 30, 2021

Brian Scott

Hola & welcome to Tuesdays surf report! Today we had some bigger sets in the head high plus range later in the day. Those nuclear winds today however were absolutely NUTS…. and thus made that water out there dip even a few more degrees. So be sure to take your best neoprene with you if you’re planning on paddling out mañana!

Ok, it was a little overhead + + !

Derek and his energy as a whole, much like his surfing only get’s better with more size.

The guys watching from the original Mark & Daves compound, must be pretty cool (or sad however you look at it) that they’re the official LAST crew to ever stay and rent while it is in transition from what used to be Mark and Daves and will be transformed into yet another uniquely cool surfers paradise right on the beach.

Brian Scott

Doc on his quick little surgical last light strike. I think he may of even just did the “One and done” quickie sesh! But that wave was the longest wave of the day by a mile!

Brian Scott

Sophie making one of those super shifty lefts actually look fun and manageable.

Brian Scott

Well, the good thing is it’s almost officially April, which means we’re that much closer to less of these devil offshore winds and the water WILL warm back up soon. AAAAND the purple blobs should start appearing more and more.

Brian Scott

I’m the photographer and even I think that doesn’t look fun! Looks really windy and super cold! Both are truth!

Brian Scott

Colin (always surfs or most of the time surfs leash-less) he’s pretty old school that way.

Brian Scott

But right after he came in after this wave, because he concurred (like everyone else I spoke to) that the water was in fact “freezing cold today” it actually started to sprinkle from some pretty heavy dark clouds that were making they’re way from the east.

Brian Scott

I just happened to catch D-man catch this inside drainer and pull in, but also EXIT just in time…..

Brian Scott

Right before this thing blew up right on the inside in only a couple feet of water. Probably where those inside rocks are too! Super Gnar buddy!

If you love surfing and you happen to be a proud papa like this unidentified dude….. you truly couldn’t be in a more beautiful place right now in the world than right here in Nicaragua! Diacachimba ~
