Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, March 28, 2011

We've got a mellow day out at the beach today.  The swell has held from yesterday and we have head high waves with some inconsistent sets.  The wind was light offshore most of the day and came onshore this afternoon.  The crowds are light and there were plenty of waves to be had.  This guy managed to grab a nice corner.

Pancho and his family are hanging at the Playa Colorado shop for the next couple of weeks.  Judging from his expression, he looks pretty happy about it.  What's up Pancho!

This is one of my new favorite photos.  Homie is wearing a head-cam but he obviously missed the shot on this one!

We've got a couple of young guys down from CA...probably on Spring Break.  This guy managed to get one of the few barrels today.

Shot 5, behind the curtain.

Shot 6...looks like somebody was on the shoulder.

Shot 7

Shot 8...he's done, right?

Shot 9, he's in there somewhere...

Shot 10 - just made it out the doggie door.  Nice work!

Head-cam guy was also busting airs.  This is actually the same wave from earlier.  Send us the movie man!

Here's a cool shot of an inner bar right.  There weren't many corners out there today, but when you found them, they were fun!

I thought this shot was pretty cool.  This guy dropped in straight under the lip.  The boat in the back looks cool too.  (Check out head-cam guy on the shoulder getting footage)

We'll leave you with this shot of Heather "Hace Quesos", working hard on the pool deck of the New NSR Beach House.  If you haven't been here yet, you really should check this place out.  There's not a better set-up anywhere!

Waves should be fun again tomorrow so be sure to check us out!

Down southhe NSR Surf School went out to the beach with a nice crew from Chicago.  They all were super stoked on their first day out in the lineup.  The waves were perfect to learn how to surf, crystal and warm water were added to the sweet conditions we had.  Here is a shot of the crew!

Madeline, the 10 year old lady was killing it.  She rode sick waves all morning long.  Here she is with a solid ride.

The last shot goes to Zach styling on this little nugget.  These guys literately killed today.
