Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, March 25, 2018

Brian Scott

Hola amigos! Today we officially start the Semana Santa Holiday. The waves were pretty small today, but we’re expecting a new swell starting tomorrow and an even bigger swell later this week, so without further ado let’s jump in and check out todays goodies.

Brian Scott

Not a whole lot going on down at the sand bars.

Brian Scott

Not a whole lot going on up at the other sand bars either.

Brian Scott

Based on those last two images, it makes sense why I saw this couple making their way to Panga Drops.

Brian Scott

Definitely the call for today was the reef.

Brian Scott

You can always count on this spot for some waves. Set of three stacked in this set.

Brian Scott

Cesar making his way down for the afternoon daily surf. Hola amigo!!

Brian Scott

The conditions weren’t clean by any means. But there were surf-able waves for sure.

Brian Scott

Nam gunning for it to make it around that crumbly section.

Brian Scott

See, sometimes it pays off when you B-line it for the next section as opposed to just straightening out.

Brian Scott

A different outlook of being caught behind the foam ball on this one. Still a good sized wave for todays standards though.

Brian Scott

Nice refreshing surf session, followed by a nice beso from your honey waiting for you on the beach. It’s time for a Toña!

Brian Scott

The people are starting to make their way here to Hacienda Iguana. Don’t be surprised when you see how packed this beach is going to be in the next couple of days.

Brian Scott

Ok friends. That’s all I have for today. Hopefully Baldo will wake mañana to see the surf pumping and have some epic photos for you guys. Be sure to check in then to check it out. I’ll see ya back here on Martes. Salu ~
