Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, March 25, 2010

What’s going on fellas?  This is your favorite reporter bringing you all the action from the NSR Beach House.  Today I got hired by a few guys from Santa Cruz, they all were so excited with the cool photos I got of them.  The swell dropped down but there were still some nice waves rolling in.  It was running about chest to head high on sets with nice offshore winds in the morning.  Here we have Scott and John being part of the lineup shot!!!

On the first shot of the day we have Andrew working on his backside style on this right.  He was getting tons of good waves all day long.

Here we have Dan dropping off on this cool left hander.  He wants to say hi to his lovely wife back in the States.  This is the first time they come down and they love it so far.

On the last shot of this crew we have Joe with a late take off on this nice sized right.  It was so nice to meeting you guys, I hope to see you down next time!

We had a few other surfers taking tons of sweet and fun waves.  This is Dam from Boston Massachusetts getting some shade into this sick barrel section.

Pancho Sanchez was able to make the trip with me and scored some sick ones as well.  Here he is just seconds away to pull into that sick right hander.

We always have some cool wipe out shots when we have some mini bumps in the lineup.  This is La Tarantula going over the falls upside down.  Ouchhh!!!

It is time to post the barrel of the day.  We don’t even have to bother you telling you who this guy is.  Shot 1, late take off as always!

Shot 2, do you think he’s going to make that late drop?

Shot 3, yes he made it!

Shot 4, bottom turning!

Shot 5, setting up!

Shot 6, waiting for the right moment to pull in!

Shot 7, getting some shade!

Shot 8, are you kidding me?

Shot 9, OH MY GOD!

Shot 10, is that really happening?  Where did he go?

Shot 11, there he is looking for the door!

Shot 12, pulling out of the barrel of the day with a killer style.

Shot 13, that was nice Mr Brown!

Let’s keep it on with the barrel fest.  Here we have Carlitos Calientes showing us how is done on backside.  Yeah dude!!!

Everybody loved the action from the beach, including a few dogs.  What a nice looking shot, uh!

On the last surfing shot of the day we have Carlitos showing us some local knowledge on this right.  This was right before the wind got a little side shore.

Alright fellas, that’s all for today.  I hope you’ve enjoyed the report for today, please check us back out tomorrow.

It's always good to see photos from different beaches on the same day.  That's why we are stoked when our friend Mike D. sends in some shots.  Here's a good shot of the man himself, although you can't tell it's him because he's BARRELLED!  That's how we do it down here in Nicaragua!

Albert has been down here so long everybody calls him Alberto now.  He he is going footloose and fins-free on this little nugget wedge.  Thanks again to Mike D. at Nicawaves for sending in these shots.
