Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, March 22, 2011

The surf was a tad smaller today but there were still some fun sets rolling in, it was a little inconsistent but when the sets came, they were pretty fun ones to be had.  It was running about waist to shoulder high with a couple head high waves on sets, the wind was still blowing strong and the water was nice.  Check out the lineup!!!

To start the day we are going to introduce John, dropping into a sweet right hander.  He doesn’t surf very often but today he got to score a few nice ones.

Sandy was doing his thing on his bogie board.  Here he is caught picking up a nice set.

Mike was so excited to paddle out and ride some nice ones.  His day wasn’t that good but at the very end he picked up one of the better waves of the day.  Check him out going big with a cool floater.

Peter found himself into a couple of small but fun left handers.  Here he is working on his backside ride.

This guy made it out on his giant panga and was ripping on that thing.  He is here high lining to get more speed!

Jack Sparrow took his blue sailboat out and rode a few nice ones.  Here he is trying to get some shade on this section.

Try to fly with these strong offshore winds is not always a good idea.  This little kid almost broke his board in two half, but the try gave him the opportunity to be on.

Nothing better like a sweet sunset.  Otro dia en el paraiso!!!
