Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, March 22, 2009

Hi and thanks for joining us for the Sunday surf report.  This is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you all the action from up to Tola with our friends Ted, Rich, Tom and Ricardo.  The waves were pretty small but there were still a couple of fun sets to be had.  It was running about waist to chest high with offshore winds and the water is still chilly.  Check out the lineup!!!

These guys really wanted to get a few shacks during their trip but the waves were not cooperating.  Unfortunately we didn’t have swell in the water but they still had a good time down here.  Here we have Ted and Rich figuring something out just to keep the good feeling.

The lineup was not busy at all, so these guys took advantage on that and had this spot for themselves for about one hour.  Here we have a shot Ricardo “Semana Santa” taking off on one of the better set waves of the day.

This is Ted “El Macua” Key trying to get a little backside barrel on this little nugget.  Ted loves to be down here with his friends but he is missing so much his family.

Tom “Too Tight” Faw set up in the right spot to catch plenty of fun rights today.  Here he is bottom turning on one of the many fun rights he took.

Rich “Craneo de Mono” Paul – Hus decided to take the big panga out today and he did very well on that thing.  Check him out looking down the line on this sweet left.

On the last shot we have Monchito with the wipe out of the day.  The swell is supposed to pick up a little bit tomorrow so stay tuned with us.
