Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, March 21, 2011

We had an early sesh this morning and then headed out to Rivas to check it out.  There were some fun waves rolling in and we scored a few.  It was running about waist to head high on sets, the winds died a bit but there were still pretty strong offshore.  Check it out!!!

Mike and Miles were charging in the morning sesh.  Here is caught Miles bottom turning one of the better rights of the day.

Mike with a cool backside hack on this left.  He didn’t get many waves today but he had some nice ones.

We drove up to Rivas, because the guys wanted to see how the town was.  They were pretty stoked because they got to see a lot of our life.  For example, how an old man get his job done to bring some food home!

Chris used to do motorcycle racing when he was younger but he still has the feelings.  So he was checking all the bikes we have down here, trying to figure out which one was the best one.

Craig and John couldn’t resist the temptation to buy and taste a couple of mangos.  They got a dozen and they didn’t even spend a dollar.

You always be able to find a beautiful chick, any time you make it to Rivas.  This is Johanna walking down the street.

We made it back safe and when straight to the surf.  Peter on his first wave in the afternoon sesh.  What a beautiful wave, uh!

Sandy was doing his thing on his boogie board.  Here he is caught dropping into a nice right hander.

A few locals were out at this spot, and they were ripping.  Melkis “El Camello” is caught here with a cool backside floater.

This is Kenny from Fl, hand dragging on this beautiful right.  I met him a couple years ago and he actually got on the site by a crazy mistake I did.  I guess it would have been nice to have him back on the site and here he is.

We were surfing until sunset as you can see on this shot.  The waves are supposed to be a tad smaller tomorrow but we are expecting to get a new swell during the night so you better stay with us.
