Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, March 19, 2008

Welcome to the surf report for today. This Jairo "Come Pan Panic" reporting from out here at Maderas, we have a new swell show it up today. It's headhigh on sets, the wind is offshore and the water is warm. Check it out.

Meanwhile The Nicaraguan National Team flew out to Panama today, i made it out this morning with another great local surfers. Here we have Gerardo "El Mope" miranda with a nice maneuver.

Yamil "El Coky" getting back to the action today. This guy was so excited because we have good waves out there and he was scoring some good ones. There he is with a sick and dangerous shot in front of Machete pt.

There were a couple of good rights coming in, as always we said the best waves nobody takes it.

The holidays on and a lot of people from different part of the county and also of the world decided to spend the holidays down here in Nicaragua and take advantage of the beautiful weather. Here is a shot of the scene today.

Rodolfo "El Calibilly" Zapata was doing his thing today and he was ripping it up all over the place. Here he goes on the top.

HI folks, it is Lucha Libre reporting the trip to Panama. Today super early in the morning about 5:00 am we took the bus from Don Quijote Hotel were we spent the day in cool rooms with AC and comfortable beds.

Just a few minutes later we arrived to the airpot and got ready to fly out to Panama to the Central American Surf Contest. Here we have Balboa, La Baloy and El Peluche having fun at the airport.

We finally made it to Panama around 11:00 am in the morning and we just wanted to land to have some breakfast because we didn't eat anything in the morning. Here is cool aerail shot.

We really love this country because we can see the potential of tourism and hopefully some day our town (San Juan del Sur) is going to be like this beautiful place. Here is a shot of the scene of the Panama city.

Yeahh folks, this was the best part of the day today after a few hours flying and driving we made a stop to have lunch. Here is Oliver doing his thing!!!

And we finally made it to our hotel to have sweet dreams. Alright folks, Lucha will be back tomorrow with the first report from Playa Venao.
