Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, March 18, 2011

What’s up folks?  This is Miguel bringing you the Friday surf report from down here in San Juan del Sur.  The waves were kinda fun today, running about waist to shoulder high on sets but the wind was howling offshore, the water was not cold but the winds made it a little bit chilly.  Check it out!!!

A couple locals and a few international dudes made it out and they were riding tons of fun waves.  This is El Coyotito picking up a nice left hander.

Jeremy from Canada wore his wetsuit and got into a few nice ones.  Here he is hand dragging on this little nugget, hoping to get a little cover.

Juan Bustos has been surfing way better than the last month, and he already learned how to snaked people.  That’s not good to do big boy!

El Corage Hernandez took his huge panga out and was doing his thing, as always.  Here he is throwing a nice hang five right in front of the camera.

Riley is caught here on a nice looking left hander.  It wasn’t one of the bigger sets, but it was one of the cleaner ones.

Ahhhhhhhh, another day in the office!!!

Sometimes when you are surfing you get to hit your head with your board.  This girl was not worried about that because she had on a peculiar helmet.

The last shot of the day goes to La Gaviota Chamorro busting a sick frontside air.  The waves should be fun tomorrow as well, so make sure to check us back out.
