Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, March 18, 2009

Hi folks, this is Lucha Libre bringing you the action from one of the better spots to learn how to surf down here in Nicaragua.  In fact guys, today we had a crew from Missouri trying to learn how to surf, and off course we did the best the make this family score some waves.  The surf conditions were perfect because it was running about waist to chest high on sets with offshore winds all day long.  Here we have a shot of the Silberberg family just seconds before they paddled out for their first surf in their life.

On the first surf shot we have Patt riding this wave with killer style.  This is the first wave he took today and the first wave of his life.  Can you guys believe it?  He’s a natural surfer.

His mother didn’t want to miss the opportunity to learn how to surf and made it out as well.  Here is Kathie just seconds before she stand up on this wave and rode it all the way in to the beach.

Her husband was charging as well.  John had a surgery a few years ago in his knee, but that didn’t stop him.  He has a titanium implant but he was not worried about it.  Congratulations folks, you guys did a really good job!!!

On the last shot of the family we have Kurt with a solid backside ride on this right.  It was so nice meeting you guys, we hope to see you again.

The afternoon was pretty hot today, so a few guys decided to spend the day on the beach and drink some tonas, including this cute girl.  She really loves tona because she drunk 2 in a raw in only 10 minutes.

On the last day of the day we have Oliver “El Monito” Solis taking the last wave of the lesson.  He was super stoked because all these guys stand up very fast and they had a good time with the NSR family.  The waves are supposed to be small for the next few days so it is ideal to take the big pangas out.
