Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, March 18, 2006

Not too bad out here at Maderas today. We're in between swells, but it's still chest high and offshore. The water is chilly due to the strong winds - we don't have a buoy to read or anything but we are guessing it's between 60 and 65 degrees - Really.

Even so, it's a beautiful day at the beach and a great time to learn how to surf. This is EU, one of the best instructors in San Juan Del Sur, doing his thing.

There's a fun longboard wave over in front of Machete point with no takers.

Thanks Roberto!

We've got a building swell forecast for tomorrow and into the next week, so be sure to check back.
