Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, March 17, 2008

Well folks, we are Lucha Libre and Come Pan reporting from out here at Maderas. We have good weather conditions to paddle out and have fun out there. The water is clear and the wind is offshore but it's a little bit cloudy but it doesn't matter because we have some fun sets coming through. It's running about waist to chest high on sets but there are not too many people out there. Check it out.

Alright folks, just 2 days away to fly out to Panama we took 4 of the 10 local surfers out to practice some moves. Luis "La Baloy" Chamorro was taking advantage and was doing his thing. Here he is with a cool spray.

The groms were out too and were doing the best they can on the small waves. Here is Larry "Carita de Venado" on a nice left.

Augusto "La Gaviota" made it out too and was shredding all over the place. Here he is working hard on a small wave.

Young Rex "La Bestia" Calderon has been working hard during the last few months because he wants to get a better place this year in the Central American Surf Contest in Panama. Check him out going big with a cool aerial.

Roque "Balboa" Calderon is one of the other surfers who is going to Panama with the Nicaraguan Surf Team too. There he is seconds away to smack it.

Check out Oliver "EL Monito" Solis with the last shot of the day. Please check back tomorrow.
