Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, March 16, 2006

Man, this has been a good swell. We've still got some waves today out here at Playa Santana. It's about head high on sets, offshore and barreling. The fun factor doesn't get much higher than this. Here is a view of the lineup.

You can come stay with us at the NSR Casita and this wave is a two minute walk from your front door.

We've got a slowly fading swell for the next day or two and then it looks like another fun pulse on the way.

We've also got a report in from Roberto at Maderas today who says it's smaller but still fun. The water got a bit colder too so it's nice to wear a warm top if you've got one - otherwise you aren't staying out too long.

Here's a good contrast on wave size at different beaches during the same day. It actually looks like Maderas is picking up a tad more of this swell. This is Josh from Ft. Lauderdale picking off a nice left hander.

Gerardo.
