Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, March 15, 2011

The swell finally showed out and there was a lot of people having a blast.  The waves were over head on sets, with quite strong offshore winds and the water was still pretty chilly.  Check it out!!!

The crew from Philly and Jersey paddled out and they got to catch a couple of fun ones.  This is DeacaJiMike doing his thing on a nice sized set wave.

Jason “Hittman’s Twin” is caught here working on his frontside ride.  The waves at this spot were pretty disorganized but there were a couple of clean ones coming in if you waited it.

Mike took his big panga out and got able to kill some nice left handers.  Here he is caught racing down the line of this nice little nuget.

Jay was ripping all over the place, and here is the proof.  Nice off the lip in the inside section.

Hittman had to battle against winds and currents to enjoy a couple rides.  It seems like he likes to work on his backside!

There were a couple of nice waves rolling in by Los Perros but nobody was out there.  Fun looking wave, uh!

Mike with a late take off on one of the bigger set waves of the day.  Even with the strong offshore winds we had, everybody got to score.

It seems like the sand bars are starting to setup at this spot, so it might be pretty fun in the next few days.  Stay tuned with us!!!
