Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, March 14, 2020

Good Afternoon and welcome to the Saturday Surf report, we are in-between swells today and should see some more size in the next few days. That being said we still have some fun waves coming thru if you’re willing to wait a bit between sets.

Locals fishing from the shore and sets rolling in out back. Do you see the guy on the shoulder?

This surfer had a nice right and rode it all the way to the shore.

Meanwhile his friend was throwing buckets backside.

The responsibilities of a father :) Idk if they’re posing for me or the gram.

When the lulls between waves would come I tuned my camera toward the trees, and look at what I found. Pretty bird

Surfers best friend right there. I was hoping for some tandem dog surfing but she left the dog on the beach.

When the waves are smaller it is a good chance to take a walk with a friend or get out and sweep the sea floor on your paddle board.

I decided to switch up the spot and cruised down in front of the beach club to catch the tide push.

There were definitely some pretty waves on this side of the beach. Got me thinking “wish I had my board in my hands right now versus the camera.”

Brett was one of the few guys out, look at him compress his energy and get ready to wack the lip.

Brett was telling me he likes when the waves get big because then there are less people in the lineup. I guess smaller waves have a similar effect.

Some nice little 2-3 ft waves on tap today. I’m getting a little frothy writing this report I’m thinking after report surf!

Some are happiest when they are in the water doing what they love. It’s a perfect place to self quarantine.

Consistent offshore winds produce such beautiful conditions even when the swell isn’t pumping.

Suns out Buns out! When the waves are this size it is perfect for the whole family. Playing around in the shore break or taking photos in front of the waves. Until next time, I’ll save a spot in the lineup for ya ;)
