With so many things getting shut down/ suspended over the last few days there are still a few things that we can count on to keep providing daily, the waves and of course our SurfNSR surf report. If a wave barrels at Playa Colorado and nobody is there to ride it, does it make a spit?

Seeing as there were no people out at Playa Colorado I decided to jump on the moto and take the short ride up to Panga Drops. As I pulled up there were lines out the back and only a few guys in the water.

The report says 3-4 foot but my eyes are telling me it’s more like head high. This guy was one of the lucky few, able to pick and choose his waves.

The water is a bit cold here now, and by cold I mean 75 degrees Fahrenheit (or for the rest of the world 24 degrees Celsius) so warm by my hometown San Diego standard. LOL

One way to get that warm feeling inside is to generate some speed and carve to backside snap with a big spray off the lip.

When there are only a few people in the water each set has a wave for each surfer. Plenty of open face to practice your roundhouse cutback or any other maneuvers you’ve been working on.
