Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, March 10, 2017

Hola amigos!  Welcome to another daily update from us here at NSR!  This is Eric checkin’ in with your Friday surf report.  We’ve got some chest high waves with steady offshore winds and a mellow lineup at our home beach today!

Scott was in the water early today, getting some ocean time in before the sun gets too strong is always a good idea!

The water has been cold again lately, Buzz told me it puts a damper on his dawn patrol sessions. He waited for the sun to shine today and paddled out for some fun!

Lesther made his way out a little while later as the tide was getting high. He air dropped in to his first wave with ease!

Already sticking a difficult drop, he went vertical on his first turn and kissed the lip with some style!

Oscar showed up at the beach with Lesther and they had a nice brotherly surf session! Surfing with friends and family is always the best!

Ian paddled out with the brothers and into some nice sets. The wind was strong and was trying to open up those rights!

Of course Lesther found a barrel section! He’s logged more hours at this wave than most in the past years and always finds the good waves!

We had one chica out in the water this morning! She was finding some nice frontside rides and staying busy out there!

Armando found some time to get out and enjoy the ocean! He paddled out right after Lesther got a little barrel and found one for himself!

We have some new people joining us here for the weekend! Welcome down everybody! Stop by the NSR shop and say hello, we’ve got all the info you need to make your visit down a great time!

Going right today could turn into a battle against that wind! Oscar was holding his own and ripping some good backside turns!

Going left you’d have some extra help with the wind at your back! Gotta’ burn that speed on your rail once that happens!

Here’s Scott again, with a foamy tube section on the inside!

We’ve got some swell headed our way! Be sure and stay tuned with us here at NSR for the upcoming weekend and into next week! We’ll be at the beach, covering what the ocean sends our way and bringing the action to you! I’ve got some good expectations for the coming days! See you in the water my friends!
