Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, March 08, 2012

We checked the surf out this morning and this is what we found. Chest high, light offshore and tiny. We were expecting a new swell, but it was small in the morning.  We hoped to find something better in the afternoon and!!!!!

Everyone up here was praying today and good god hear us all.  We got blessed this afternoon and the new swell started to show up!

It was kinda windy out there but it was still pretty fun.  Andrew working hard on his backside to keep the stability on this peeler.

Carlitos Calientes was throwing some huge gaffs down the line.  The offshore winds helps a lot, uh Carlitos!

It wasn't all about lefts today, we had some sweet right handers to have fun on.  Who wants some of this?

As we said before the winds were doing their thing out there but that did not stop us.  Pulling in deep in this section!

We had some killer wipe outs as well.  Free falling on the right is not the same than free fallin on the left.  Ouchhhhh!!!

There were quite a few guys from San Diego, taking many fun ones as they could.  Greg styling on his bottom turn on this one!

Pancho Sanchez scored many sickies right before dark.  Check him out enjoying the view!

Travis but no Pastrana was charging into some deep sections.  Lucha getting a little arty on this one!

The tide was getting lower and lower but Carlitos was not worried about how dangerous it was getting.  On the last wave of the day caveman Carl finallly found the green room.  Sickkkkkkk!!!!

After a good day of surf nothing is better than an ice cold Toña.  Pancho, Carlitos and Travis toasting the end of a good day.  More waves expecting for tomorrow, so stay tuned!
