Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, March 08, 2010

Hi folks, we are the NSR family bringing you all the action for this Monday surf report.  Today we went to the beach in the morning trying to score some waves with the incoming tide.  The waves were small but we still had some fun ones running about knee to waist high on sets with strong offshore winds.  Check it out!!!

We have to mention that the water was freezing out there.  Everyone went out just for a couple minutes, enough to ride a few good ones.  These two guys decided not to paddle out and sweat the hangover on the beach.

In the other hand, the locals decided to wear their full wetsuit and paddle out to shred on some of the better set waves we had rolling in.  Here is caught Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro with a cool little sequence.  Shot 1, looking for the best spot to destroy this poor little nugget.

Shot 2, expanding his wings to give more power to his maneuver!

Shot 3, what a nice hack dude!

Shot 4, that is a perfect technique!

Shot 5, that was the best way to stay warm out there today.

Hold on folks, there was a better way to stay warm.  Don’t you believe us?  Check out these guys warming up themselves and make your own call!

As we said before the water was super cold, so everybody has to wear on wetsuit to go out.  Even “La Piguinita” has to wear it.  I bet she feels real hot now!

La Baloy Chamorro found a better way to stay out of the cold water and surf at the same time. As usual, he was busting crazy aerial maneuvers all over the place.

Alright folks, that’s all for today.  Please make sure to check us out tomorrow.
