Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, March 03, 2018

Brian Scott

Welcome to the Saturday surf report. Your one stop spot for daily surfing action from sunny southern Nicaragua!

Brian Scott

Todays beach scene was super mellow. Not a whole lot of people out (surfing) but un-like this guys decision making inquiry on whether to go or not to go, my show must always go on!

Brian Scott

I’m glad my fiend Moritz has been in town for as long as he has.

Brian Scott

He’s definitely been giving me some good content.

Brian Scott

Especially since no-one really seems to want to surf this time of year here??

Brian Scott

Pretty (ok?) waves with hardly a soul out. How was your surf spot looking today, on a Saturday?

Brian Scott

It’s always a fun day at the beach when your a kid. Sand Castles anyone??

Brian Scott

This chap was making the best of the high tide, backwash-ee, chilly, little shore pounders.

Brian Scott

Well, this doesn’t look like it’s going to end well….?

Brian Scott

Ouch, that’s about 6 inches of water onto hard packed sand. Watch your neck amigo!!

Brian Scott

This is a proper floater over those six inches of water.

Brian Scott

John Juan decided to come out and join in on the fun.

Brian Scott

He’s getting pretty good on that Rasta Wave Storm too!

Brian Scott

Hows that, “Hey I’m looking at you” stance on this nice little head high nugget?

Brian Scott

JJ taking this thing all the way in to the beach.

Brian Scott

Nice finishing maneuver cúmbila!!

Brian Scott

Back over to the rights. Moritz looking like he’s taking off on a So Cal wave, is that David Hassholff in the forground??

Brian Scott

No, i’m kidding around. It’s Nica-Land.

Brian Scott

Setting up for something…BIG?

Brian Scott

Big Air, maybe?

Brian Scott

Nahhh it’s just this SUPER SICK floater on top of a 3 feet thick lip over 6 inches of water.

Brian Scott

John taking his WS to new levels every session.

Brian Scott

This our estuary/river, the one that makes this break what it is. Up until recently, there’s been a lot of controversy on how this thing has been flowing all wet season. Like many things in life…. PLEASE let mother nature take it’s natural course. The Nicaraguan people will be thankful, as I’m sure many surfers will be as well. No molestes a la arena por favor ~

Brian Scott

Ok Saturday peeps. The night is still young. Get out there, do something fun, but be safe. Hope you enjoyed. Ciao, adiós ~
