Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, February 27, 2009

Hey guys, this is the Friday surf report from out here at Playa Maderas.  Today Pancho Sanchez took the camera because he wanted to show us his photography skills.  He went out to the beach with our very good friends Carlitos Calientito and Hace Quesito.  There were plenty of people on the beach and everybody in the water was so nice.  It was running about waist to chest high on sets with offshore winds and the water was colder than yesterday.  Check it out!!!

Our friend Alfredo “El Manito” Peru was taking advantage in the lineup with his big panga.  Check him out bottom turning this nice looking left.

It was a beautiful day out here at the most popular beach around town.  It is weird because the water is chilly but we had a sunny day.  So a couple of locals decided to refresh themselves with an ice-cold smoothie.

The winds were not blowing too hard today but we want to share this shot with everybody, just to let you know how you can keep your board safe on the beach.  You can put some rocks on them but not really big because you probably can crush them out.

Hey Alfredo, how cold is the water?

The best surf teacher in town headed out down south with Come Pancito to score some good waves with our new student Matthew O’leary.  Dilte stand up every single student that comes out with us to the beach to do surf lessons.

Not only Alfredo was feeling the cold water.  Check out these two little kids on the last shot of the day.  We are expecting to have a push in the swell tomorrow so be sure to check back tomorrow.
