Greetings! Happy Sunday to all our friends tuning in today!  This is Eric with another daily surf report from one of our many great waves down here in Nicaragua!

I took the camera down to the beach right as the tide had dropped all the way out. It was making for some fast barrels in shallow waters!

Luckily for everybody it is just some soft sand that you bounce off at this wave!  Looks like Tony Z was getting some good shots out there too!

As we see often at this beach, the rights had great shape and were wide open! Not to say there aren’t some sneaky lefts to watch out for!

With the low tide and the hollow conditions, most waves required you to pull in or get left in the white water! A few were slowed down enough to feel out some turns!

It was a semi-busy lineup this morning, we had shortboards, boogies, bodysurfers, and some longboards out enjoying the waves!

Carlos Caliente paddled out to share the fun! He was up late helping me with some computer issues last night, still up in time for some morning barrels though!

This muchacho was easy to spot with that bright colored shirt on his back! He was loving the fast waves with that fast board of his!

Some of the waves were full of sandy water and made them look a bit chocolatey! That’s what happens when the swell is breaking two feet above the sandbar!

I’m not sure I would want a board like this fella’s… It looks like the colour a big tiburón might be interested in!

We are seeing a little increase in size for tomorrow! Our dominant offshore winds are back and it should be a good time out there for the upcoming week! Thanks for tuning in today, we’ll be here again tomorrow so check back for another daily update from la playa! Adios amigos!
