Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, February 22, 2021

Brian Scott

Hola and Happy Monday amigos! Today we had a day of search and constant observation of “when are the surfers going to appear”, kind of day. Unfortunately, after checking many many times throughout the day, I decided maybe it’s just better to show you how nice the waves were (that is before the high offshore winds kicked in) and I thought of a better way to utilize the report to showcase something that has everything to do with anyone and everyone coming down here to stay literally. So let the slide show begin!

Brian Scott

Waves were still small for now… but as you can see it was a beautiful morning regardless of waves or size.

This was maybe my third or forth time checking and I was getting frustrated to keep going down to the each to find that nobody was even out. Not a single person from the south end all the way to the north end.

Brian Scott

So I figured, maybe this is a good day to showcase one of NSR’s most creative villages (within the Hacienda village), I present to you the Eco Casita Village, or formally named Las Playas Village. (** all property photos shot by yours truly!) :-)

Brian Scott

This place is a one of a kind setup inside the gates of Hacienda Iguana. It was actually developed and conceptualized and geared for large groups or parties of people, be it families, really large wedding events and people, church or religious groups OR a gang load of surfers who need their own mini village all basically being next door neighbors while only being minutes from 2 world class surf breaks. It’s basically the best setup for ay large group where you can all have your own mini town.

Brian Scott

It comes with its own private yoga or mini outdoor conference area.

Brian Scott

If you like to stretch before you go surf in the morning…. get your coffee brewing and step right outside your front door and stretch those limbs before you head on down to the surf!

Brian Scott

It has your own private lap pool and side play pool that’s kid friendly with a nice lounge area with comfy chairs and side tables for our drinks or whatever you like to bring to the watering hole.

Brian Scott

This place boast an amazing 9 separate fully equipped homes that come in 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom layouts.

Brian Scott

One of them is even handicap equipped, so the owner of this brilliant concept didn’t create this place without skipping a single detail for anyone wishing to come down to visit a little slice of paradise. (** In fact, I’m not sure if I sit correct on this, but I’m pretty sure this is the ONLY unique place in Hacienda Iguana that caters to people with a handicap).

Brian Scott

Here’s a look at the living space of one of the two bedrooms. Super comfy, and fairly new to the development.

Brian Scott

They all come fully furnished and have AC and washing and drying machines which is a super plus!

Brian Scott

The bedrooms are all fully decorated and ready made for a good nights sleep so you can enjoy each next day on your vacation to wake with another day ready to get out there and see what Nica-Land has to offer.

Brian Scott

All units have their own private patios with comfortable outdoor living style furniture, both sides with pretty much all golf course views and lots of lush greenery.

Brian Scott

Spacious living areas all with flat screen TV’s if you need to watch your daily news, golf, surfing, or whatever fits your indoor entertainment needs.

Brian Scott

Here’s a beautiful morning view over looking one of the driving T-off boxes. Morning java and birds chirping and those soft gentle morning breezes…. you ready to get about 20 of your best surf buddies and book your trip yet?

Brian Scott

The layouts are all very similar, but the interior design of each one is uniquely hand crafted to keep the feeling of each home, to make you feel…. well, at home!

Brian Scott

The good ting about having the unique ability to rent an entire mini village amongst you and your family or close friends, means regular visits for meals, playing games or just hanging out is only literally a doorstep away.

Brian Scott

Hows’ this place look around sunset time….???? You tell me? Pretty nice eh!!!!!

Brian Scott

With bath warm water and a nicely lit community center and walkways, you can enjoy this place well into the evening as well. Just don’t forget to bring your mosquito spray! Don’t worry, you’ll need it ANYWHERE you’re gonna go in Nicaragua once the sun goes down. Just a friendly reminder. You’ll thank me later!

Brian Scott

Of course, I can’t just leave you all hanging without seeing what the golden ticket is at the end of the rainbow of this epic little mini village. Here’s what you come to get…. but a good nights sleep after surfing waves like this all day is KEY! So if you have a large group of people and want to book your own little private village, feel free to e-mail us here at NSR directly for your next big group staycation!
