Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, February 20, 2011

Hi and welcome to our daily surf report.  Today we went to the beach in the afternoon trying to score some fun waves.  The waves were super fun, running about shoulder to head high on sets with strong offshore winds and the water was a little chilly.  Check out the lineup!!!

On the first surfing shot of the day we have this girl, she was one of the many girls that we had in the water trying to catch some waves.  Check  her out looking good riding on this small but fun right hander.

The lineup was very busy today, we had about 24 or 26 guys in the water including a few locals doing their thing.  Here we have one of them with this  little snap.

As I said before the waves were fun, and this guy was catching a couple waves at Machete pt.  Look at him with his boggy board dropping in on this nice sized left hander.  Good job my friend.

We had a lot of people in the water having a good time, so we have many fun waves rolling in to the beach with no taker.  Check out this peeler coming in by itself.

Today we have too many people on the beach taking a break.  Check out this scene where everyone enjoying of this beautiful and sunny day.

This is our very good friend Guillermo “El Coyote” Solis he was getting some fun waves.  Look at him dropping in on this beautiful and peeler left hander, one of the better waves that he caught today.

The locals were doing their things as always.  This is Felipe “El Pipe” Chompipe smacking the lip of this closed out section.

Alright folks that’s all for today.  Please check back with us tomorrow!
