Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, February 17, 2010

What’s up folks?  Welcome to another surf report with your favorite reporter.  Today we drove up a little bit north trying to score some different kinds of waves, and we did.  The waves were running about chest to shoulder high on sets with strong offshore winds and the water was a little chilly.  Check out the lineup!!!

We mostly had only locals out there.  This is Darwin “EL Cabucho” pulling into one of the best waves of the day.  That thing looks super fun, don’t you think so?

A few other guys were ripping all over the place.  Check out Julio “El Panson” Mairena with a cool floater on this left.  They are getting ready for the upcoming surf national contest on April.

There were some really nice peaks to share.  Here we have these two guys going left and right.  What else can you ask for, when you have this kind of wave.

Meanwhile the surfers keep practicing their surfing skills, a few guys jumped out in the water to go diving.  Here we have this guy getting ready to get back home after a long day working.

We had some windy but nice rights rolling in.  This local surfer sat in the right spot and was able to catch some of the better ones.  What a nice looking right, uh!

Sometimes the left was working pretty well too.  This is the only international surf that was out in the lineup, driving a nice one.  I bet you like this spot a lot my friend, don’t you?

We hope to score some fun waves tomorrow as well, so you better stay tuned with us!
